Bearing of Modules

The modular construction method is an innovative form of timber construction which offers the advantage that a large portion of the structure can be factory built, thus eliminating problems related to weather conditions.  Ninety percent of sound transmission takes the form of flanking transmission. However, sound transmission can be successfully prevented by mounting the individual modules on Sylomer®, which decouples them from one another. Today modular buildings are frequently used to construct hotels, nurseries, residential buildings or additions to buildings.
