Machinery, which, by virtue of its design has reciprocating or rotating parts, creates vibration through imbalance of the moving parts.

It’s necessary to utilise anti vibration mounts to prevent premature wear on the machine and to ensure the longest periods between maintenance and servicing. The right mounts will also help to reduce noise and transmitted vibration to other structures nearby.

AKUSTIK PIPE

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Akustik Pipe consist in a double-hole Sylomer part enclosed in a steel housing.

The assembly of this mounting is very simple due to the easily removable Sylomer part and its single fastening hole. The uncovered distance by the housing determines the preload of the Akustik Pipe, allowing the bolt to be tightened until the housing is firmly in contact with the base.

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Akustik Pipes are specially suitable for applications where rigid or flexible pipes must be isolated, both for static and dynamic applications.

Buffer – Cylindrical

The rigid buffers used as ends of stroke or to check moving parts give rise to very high stresses at the time of the impact and therefore to rapid deterioration, accompanied by an often unacceptable noise, particularly when these impacts are repeated periodically. The elastic buffers get rid of these drawbacks completely, as they are soundproofed with rubber. The single buffer is a flat surface of rubber and therefore responds immediately to impact, without over-extending the stroke of the moving organ. The progressive buffer has a conical form in the rubber, and therefore makes contact on a progressive surface, which increases with crushing. The action is more gradual and is particularly good for a considerable absorption of energy, without a prohibitive instant stress.

Buffer – Rectangular 120 X 120

Rigid buffers used as end stops or to limit the stroke of moving parts give rise to high impact stresses to structures often causing visible deterioration .This is normally accompanied by unacceptably high noise levels to the human ear , particularly when these impacts are repeated periodically. Rubber buffers eliminate these drawbacks considerably, as they dampen noise and absorb energy . The simple buffer is a flat surface and therefore responds immediately to impact, without over-extending the stroke of the moving part. The progressive buffer has a conical form and therefore makes contact on a progressive basis , increasing deflection with increasing load. This action provides gradual arrest of moving parts, absorbing considerable energy, prohibiting instant high impact stresses.

Hydraulic Cone Mount

The HYDRAULIC CONE MOUNT is a combination of a spring component and a hydraulic shock absorber in the shape of a cone. With this both components can be tuned to each other. For good vibration insulation you need a low dampening coefficient but for movement control you need a high dampening coefficient. The  HYDRAULIC CONE MOUNTS combine these two completely different requirements in one single bearing.

This gives you the opportunity to adapt the dynamic properties of the insulator to the individual requirements of the application.

UNSPSC Codes: 23153130

For good isolation , low damping is required . For motion control high damping is required .
